Paediatric Sister Nurse Hayley Perrett reads our latest thank-you letter to colleagues on ED and Ward 3 at CRH from the mother of a little boy.

She's the second CHFT colleague in our series where we record a thank you letter so we can share the good news with all - and not just with the team involved.

Hayley, said: “Everyone just gets on with their job caring for patients and their families. We only want to provide the best care and experience for them.

"So when, after they’ve left us, they take the trouble to write in like this it means a lot. For the teams to be called “amazing” is lovely because we think we are doing our jobs.

"The letter also mentions kindness and nothing being too much trouble. That sums us all up. It just shows how we make a difference to people’s lives who come to us when they really need us.”
