Following their inspection last October, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has this week confirmed that Locala has achieved an overall rating of Good for the community health services it provides.

Our Chair, Philip Lewer said: “Locala’s latest CQC rating is great news for us all, but especially for our patients in Kirklees.

“As a provider of services in the community, they are an important part of our patient pathway in supporting us to provide Compassionate Care to those we care for”.

Locala's Chief Executive, Karen Jackson, said: “I couldn’t be more proud of Locala’s CQC report. It is entirely down to the hard work and dedication of all our colleagues who ensure that we deliver high quality, safe and effective NHS services every single day."

Locala is a colleague-owned provider of NHS community healthcare services to people in Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford. Colleagues therefore make key decisions about the services that are provided, and how the organisation works with and supports communities.

We've got loads of great resources for CHFT colleagues on our CQC intranet pages. Take a look at what's on offer here.
