Tots as young as four took part in a Kickathon organsied by Head Taekwondo Instructor and our security guard Sal Miah.

In all more than 10,000 kicks thudded into hand-pillows in an hour - the kicks were counted by people in the room using a clicker - raising more than £1,000 for Kirkwood Hospice. Some of the youngsters parents' work at CHFT and Sal wanted to share his thanks.

The event was held by the Action International Martial Arts Associaton West Yorkshire (AIMAA) at Crosland Moor Community Centre.

Sal said: "I had so much support and kindness from staff at CHFT and wanted to thank them all for helping support such a worthy cause."
