The ICU team at CRH are still chuckling after receiving a key-shaped thank-you cake from a patient and their family.

The patient spent time on ICU,  recovered and went home and wanted to thank them for all their care in a personal way.

He was so impressed with the care he received from all the team and came away with an abiding phrase from his stay: "Who's got the yellow keys?".

And so his thank-you cake was key-shaped and bright, very yellow.

Sister, Catherine Smith, said: " It has given us all a laugh and we are very touched they took the trouble to send us the cake. We have two sets of keys a red one for the CD cupboard and the yellow keys open all the rest so they are in always high demand."
