Orthopaedic Outpatients colleagues shared the double retirement of  Val Firth and Anna Lunn.

They have between them over 85 years' NHS service.  Anna has worked for the NHS for over 40 years and Val has worked over 45 years NHS service.  Val has worked on wards, in A&E and in theatres as well as orthopaedic outpatients, and Anna has worked at Mill Hill and St Luke’s.  They have also brought up families.

They have both spent their final years working for the NHS in orthopaedic outpatients where their experience and knowledge has helped many patients.

Sophia Aspinall and Steph Leid organised a leaving celebration do for them at the Wire Works which was well attended by nursing colleagues and orthopaedic consultants.   Matron Rachel Roberts supplied some lovely banners and balloons for the occasion.

We wish them both lots of lovely times ahead.
