Our lead chaplain, George Spencer, is moving on to new things - and will be working in a parish near Dewsbury.

He says: "I don't really know what to expect, except there will be a lot of interfaith work, which I have been involved with at CHFT and I'll be fine if it is half as interesting and challenging as here!

"Over the past eight years at the Trust it has been a privilege to be with people in hospital at critical times in their lives, and work alongside very committed and generous-hearted member of staff.

"I've done what I could, but feel people have always given me more. I hope everyone continues to make use of the Chaplaincy to support all kinds of needs and promote holisitic care - both for individuals and for us as the hospital family.

"I am not going to be able to say goodbye personally to everyone - but may God go with you."
