It is always a pleasure to welcome Huddersfield Town players in to see and bring cheer to our younger patients.. and Angela Farrell too.

Our Operations Manager for Trauma and Orthpaedic ended up squeezed in  a lift alongisde Andy Booth and Co on their way up to the Children's Ward at HRI.

She laughed:  " I've had worse days at work!"

The players handed out Town goody bags with teddies and free tickets for when our patients are fit enough to take in a match and first stop was Amarah Ilyas.

Legendary player, Andy Booth, said: " We can only do a little for them but if  our visit makes a difference at this time of year then it's lovely to see a smile."

Little Amarah's dad, Usman,  is a Town fan and it made his day too when Danny Simpson, Alex Pritchard, Mark Hudson and Kamil Grabara popped in. - see photo.

** The squad split so they were able to visit our hospitals. Other players and the manager also visited our Children's Ward. see photo.

Massive thanks to them all as ever on behalf of our patients, our staff and, this year in particular..... Angela Farrell.
