Sue McCann retires after 24 years of working at CHFT.  Here's more from our colleague dubbed " an amazing nurse who keeps everyone smiling."

What will you miss? My work colleagues - we're very close

Career highlights? I was in the army before and spent 18 years in Germany with my husband. We came to the UK in 1994 as civilians. I then started at CRH when it opened. I worked in Rehab first, then moved to Stroke.

Plans for future? I'm moving to Aberdeen at the end of January. It's finally time to spend time with my husband. He's worked in Aberdeen for 14 years on the oil rigs whilst I've been here.

Lisa Wilkinson said: "The stroke team are very sad to see Sue leave, she is a massive part of the team, and is legendary at Calderdale, everyone knows who Sue Mac is.

"She is amazing nurse, and her sense of humour keeps everyone smiling.

"All the stroke team would like to say thank you to Sue for her dedication and care over the years, and we wish her luck in Scotland. The unit will be less colourful without Sue."
