The deccies are going across CHFT - and none more special than the Patient Pathway Coordinating Team at HRI.

They had a "celebrity" switch on for their tree lights in their office under the lecture theatre at HRI.

Pulse1 breakfast presenting double act Milo and Rosie turned up as part of their 20-location switch-on to do the honours, and spread some cheer across West Yorkshire.

Here's the video showing the countdown to the big moment on Monday morning this week.

They also tried to photocopy their heads, but failed!

Patient Pathway Co-ordinator, Jessica Cording made it all possible after requesting the duo included us on their tour.

She said: "I emailed them and was shocked when they said: We're coming. I didn't believe it. Nobody in the office believed me when I told them but I think everyone was excited for it now and it has given a good buzz into the office when we are coming into a busy period.

"As we work within cancer tracking the work can be quite heavy at times so I thought, as a way to bring some cheer and festive spirit into the office, I would apply (I didn't expect to hear anything back though!)

"Then my phone rang and it was one of the producers telling me that we were a finalist and that they would be coming to switch our lights on at 1:15pm."

She said:  "We listen to the show every morning in the office so we are all massive fans."

The team went to town in their office with festive chair covers, deelyboppers and a lovely tree with red and white lights on it in front of a youtube image of a roaring log fire - very cosy.

Milo, said: " We are trying to turn on as many people in West Yorkshire as possible."

They posed with photos and selfies, presented a certificate to commemorate the switch-on - and tried to photocopy their heads (see photo image) but the machine wouldn't accept it.

CRH have trimmed up and their trees look lovely! See below.
