The Respiratory Ward have introduced a Quiet Room (bereavement room) for family and friends of our patients and centre stage is this marvellous artwork by Health Care Assistant Felsa -Marie Barut.

Using acrylics and pallet knife, it is called Life's Journey and is an amazing image with birds over a landscape and helps to create a restful and calming atmosphere in the room.  .

From all the Team on the Respiratory Ward say: "Thankyou Felsa-Marie. your painting is brilliant."

Why is the artwork called Life’s Journey?

For each of us, life is a journey. Each day is born with a sunrise and ends in a sunset. You have no control over how your story begins or ends. That’s the inspiration of this artwork “Life’s Journey “.

What made you donate?

As an artist, it is nice to have a positive contribution come from the creation of the artwork. There is something special about being able to give artwork in particular. It’s more personal as if I have helped by giving something of myself. It’s great to know that something I have created will go to benefit causes I have close to my heart.
