From 7th September 2015 Procurement and Supplies will be integrating the NHS Supply  Chain (NHSSC) catalogue into i-Proc to improve and streamline our ordering processes.

What does this mean as a user??

  • i-Proc will be the only ordering system.
  • One login and user name for ordering.
  • No need to remember which system to use between stock and non stock.
  • NHSSC catalogue will be available via the ‘Go Shopping’ link within i-Proc.
  • No change to top up in clinical areas.
  • All NHS SC users can still view the NHS SC system to view order status if necessary.
  • There is no change to the current i-Proc ordering process.
  • All NHS SC order approvals will now just be done via i-Proc.

What happens next?

  • Emails are being sent to all i-Proc users to attend one of the training sessions by Thomas Wareham.
  • Please book and attend one of these sessions planned during the next 7 weeks at both sites.  These are both i-Proc refresher and accessing the NHSSC catalogue via i-Proc.
  • Please contact thomas.wareham@cht.nhs.uk if you do not have an i-Proc user name, eg RWYNSMITHJ1

 What isn’t changing?

  • Ongoing support from Materials Management for NHS SC related orders or products.
  • No change to returns or discrepancies from NHSSC – still contact your Materials Management Team at either hospital.
  • Ongoing support from the Buying Team for all other non stock i-Proc orders.
  • To confirm, the i-Proc checking out/completion of requisitions will remain the same.
