Ward 20 was full of cheering and smiles on Monday after our HCA Misba Hussain staged a gender reveal by cutting a half blue, half pink huge cake.

Tension gripped the group then there was applause a - plenty when the result was there for all to see.

She wanted to share the news with them because, she says her colleagues are "like family" to her. 

So it was blue slices all round. Baby Hussain will be a boy.

We asked:

How are you feeling? Nervous, happy and I wanted to share it with the team

Are your colleagues being supportive? My colleagues are very supportive and caring

Why are you doing this on the ward? My colleagues are like family, I've been here for three years and I'll miss them so much
