Our amazing e-rosterers have been shortlisted in the finals of the Allocate's People Summit in the category for our work making CHFT a "great place to place work."

All our work with e-rostering  for nursing and medical workforce is now highly recognised by other Trusts.

Nursing E-Rostering Lead, Rose Hagreen, Head of Flexible Workforce, Ria Green and Medical E-Rostering lead, Lisa Cooper will be presenting at the two-day event next Wednesday and Thursday talking about our journey and sharing tips on our successes with other Trusts who are not as far along the route to e-rostering.

We will be presenting  ‘A doctors rostering success story’. This follows the path we have taken since February along with approximately 16 other NHS Trusts as part of Allocates Collaborative Accelerator 90 day programme.  We set ourselves quite challenging goals compared to other organisations and having successfully achieved all objectives ahead of the 90-day schedule.

We wanted to share our achievements, key successes,  lessons learned and future plans with other organisations.  Allocate have also asked the Medical E-Rostering team at CHFT to be part of the panel for their Collaborative Accelerator Programme presentation which is an added achievement and demonstrates they have acknowledged our successes.

Lisa says: "We are so proud to have been shortlisted as finalists and see this success as recognition for all the hard work which has been delivered across organisational teams."

The Allocate Workforce deployment software aims to ensure Trusts have the right number of staff, with the right skills available at the right time. It also aims to  promote safe working environments, improving home/work life balance for employees, reducing clinical risk, enhancing quality of care and reducing agency spend and off framework use.
