Hello my name is…  Meg Rank. I'm from Holmfirth where I have lived my whole life! I am one of four siblings and have an older sister, and a younger brother and sister! I started working for CHS about two months ago and have loved every minute!

What is your position? 

Apprentice Information and Governance Officer

Summarise your career background

I have never worked in a job like this before. I spent the last nine years working in the customer service industry within pubs, but graduated with a degree in Sociology in 2018, so felt that this type of job role related well to what I had studied!

What is the highlight of your career so far?

I'd have to say handing in my dissertation at university! Spending three years building up to one piece of work then finally sending it off... I came out with a 2.1 so it was all worth it in the end!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to own my own café/cake shop, bake everything myself!

Who is your hero/heroine and why?

My older sister, she thinks of everyone before herself, she really is an incredible person!

When you are not at work, how do you relax?

It sounds really dull but I love going walking, especially by the waterfall! I love baking, but I'm not really any good at it!

What is your favourite place?

I love going to Whitby! (Meg is pictured with her mum there)
