Next week is crunch time for our three teams up before the HSJ judges.
So what do Nick Scriven (CRH Acute) Lisa Williams (20:20 Outpatients) and Graham Walsh (Digital Daycase Knee pathway) really think of each other's submissions, their secret tactics.. and how a dog might clinch it? Read on... and best of luck to them all from the rest of the Trust.
How will you win over the judges:
Nick: Our enthusiasm, knowledge, MDT approach with a few killer stats
Lisa: Judges!?! No one said there were judges
Graham: Hopefully the work of the team will do all the wowing, if not I’m bringing a dog to do tricks with me.
Have you a secret weapon
Nick: Gabi our ACP
Lisa: Sharon Appleby’s meticulous prep…be afraid Acute floor…be very afraid!
Graham: If I tell you it won’t be a secret! All I’ll say to the other CHFT finalists, don’t rely on your powerpoint working!
How do you rate CHFT's other finalists
Nick: Exceptional but not quite as worthy as us.
Lisa: I hear they are serious competition for us….but like I said that’s only hearsay….
Graham: I think the shortlisting of 3 projects at CHFT has been a great showcase for the work that is done here at the Trust. I think we’re all winners, but there’s only one Digital Day Case knee team!
Will you be their friends if they win and you don't?
Nick: Of course.
Lisa: Of course…it’s not about winning (or so everyone keeps telling me!!!)
Graham: Of course - although I already have arranged a fast get away car if we lose!
