Ward 5's Engagement Support Worker West Calcutt has been asking her patients for their advice for the younger generation, after seeing the idea on Facebook.

West, said "I saw it on a care home Facebook page and thought what a great idea it would be to do on ward 5. It was a really fun way of finding out patients' views and advice they wish they'd been given when they were younger, and the patients enjoyed chatting to me".

Our patients' advice included:

• Treat folk how you wish to be treated
• Work hard and follow your dreams!
• Take every day as it comes
• Do as you're told and behave, it will get you far in life
• Always tell your family you love them
• Work hard, but don't forget to laugh
