Domestic Carol Simmons is looking for sponsors as she is due to get 16 inches of her hair cut off at the end of September after growing it for six years for the Little Princess Trust.
This hair will go to help make wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.
Carol – who has worked for the Trust for nearly 10 years - has left sponsor forms with Trust Offices at CRH.
Every staff member in Clinical Coding has sponsored Carol who got the idea after watching an inspirational girl with Downs Syndrome on Facebook who grows her hair specially so she can shave it off for wigs.
She said: “ I’ve been growing it for six years and I don’t like going for a trim at all.”
So is this the bravest things she has ever done?
No – Childbirth is!
Good luck Carol.
