We are planning to relaunch our CHFT charity in the autumn.

It's currently called Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS FT Charitable Funds - so let's face it, it's not the snappiest.

Some hospital trust charities opt for names such as ‘Over and Above’, ‘Leeds Cares’, ‘3 wishes’ ‘ Above and Beyond’,

So we want a new name for the future of our charity. It is here to enhance the care and experience we provide our patients and visitors, as well as supporting colleagues and supporting research and transformation projects across the Trust

Our logo is this lovely tree  - see image - representing growing together and lots of different branches  all joined together.

We would like to make sure that we have a name which sums up all the incredible care we provide working together in our hospitals and in our communities too.

So now, it’s over to you. So have a think, have a natter…….and see what you can come up with.

The deadline for name suggestions is next Wednesday 21st August. Please share your ideas with our Fundraising Manager Emma Kovaleski at

And Emma will have a prize for the best one.
