Rhianna's CHFT story is a real success for our award-winning Apprentice Team. And next week we'll be celebrating their first Ofsted report.

Read all about Rhianna here in our latest Hello My Name Is..... She's soon-to-be-wed (as is her Mum) and says every day here has a highlight!

Tell us about yourself.

I am an ex-apprentice born and raised in Huddersfield. I currently feel like a part time wedding planner as I am getting married in October and my mum gets married in September! As well as getting married this year I am also moving house. So, 2019 is proving to be very busy year for me.

What is your position?  Admin Assistant, Finance Department

Summarise your career background: As I am 19 this will be a quick read for you all! Whilst at college I worked part time at Sports Direct (sadly I don’t have one of the giant mugs they sell.) Once I had finished my A-Levels I applied to be an NHS apprentice and I have been looked after by the Trust ever since.

What is the highlight of your career so far? Finding out I was being offered a permanent position after my apprenticeship ended. I really enjoy my job and I am fortunate to work with lovely people, so I am able to find a highlight in everyday no matter how big or small it may be.

Sum up your role in three words: Varied, Interesting, Fun!

What did you want to be when you were growing up? An English teacher.

Who is your hero/heroine and why? My mum. She has raised me on her own since I was 13 so there is no bigger superhero in my eyes than a single parent.

When you are not at work, how do you relax? I am a huge Huddersfield Town fan, so I enjoy watching them, although last season was far from “relaxing.” I also enjoy spending time with family and friends making memories.

What is your favourite place?  My bed! I am a typical teenager who loves to sleep.

What would people be surprised to know about you? My favourite animal is a stingray.  Many people find this odd, but I love them because they always look like they’re smiling!
