West Yorkshire Police have an online reporting portal. It's on our intranet for colleagues to report any intelligence and information around possible criminal activity, as well as other safeguarding matters.

Feedback from West Yorkshire Police has highlighted the importance of the intelligence provided in tackling crime within our area, therefore keeping us all safer.

As well as being able to share information on criminal activity, it's an important tool in terms of sharing informatioin relating to Child Sexual Exploitation, Criminal Child Exploitation, Female Genital Mutilation and other concerns. https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/report-it.

The portal can be accessed via the Safeguarding page and the CHFT Security Risk Management page on the intranet.

The portal can also be accessed via the Kirklees Safeguarding Children Board's website, under the News and Updates section, http://www.kirkleessafeguardingchildren.co.uk/index.html

If you are want to report a crime the portal is not the appropriate method of reporting and this does not replace the 999/ 101 service.

Additionally it does not withhold the need to follow CHFT PREVENT/ Child and Adult Safeguarding Procedures or the West Yorkshire Safeguarding Procedures.
