Health Education England (HEE) is leading Values Week next week, so what better time to reflect on how we live our Trust values and behaviours every day here at CHFT?

We’ve recently simplified our behaviours on the new 4 Pillars posters you might have seen popping up where you work, train or in meeting rooms.

We did this because as part of our Tea Trolley rounds we had feedback from colleagues to say they knew our 4 Pillars really well, but sometimes struggled to understand what they could personally do to demonstrate them on a daily basis in their role.

So we asked our Black, Asian and minority ethic (BAME) network to help us write some behaviours that are easy to understand and that everyone can demonstrate. A massive thanks to the network for supporting this piece of work. If you would like a copy of the new poster we have some spares - please contact Sam Lindl by email: samantha.lindl@cht.nhs.uk

Our digital people strategy The Cupboard has the ingrediants you need to help with your contribution to delivering compassionate care through our values. Take a look around if you've not already had a peek.

So why not get involved and make a pledge next week on how you live the values using the template below?

Send your photos to chft@cht.nhs.uk or tag us on Twitter @CHFTNHS using the hashtag #livingthevalues
