CHFT takes its educational role seriously. One of its ongoing educational commitments is the Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills (PACES) course. It is a regional course for Yorkshire and Humber trainees held annually at CHFT.

Dr Prasad Karadi (pictured stood to left), and Postgraduate manager Sue Burton and her team have maintained the tradition and delivered another successful course ealier this month at Calderdale Royal Hospital.

Huge thanks to our acute and specialist medical consultants; registrar colleagues and consultants from outside the Trust who helped out to make this another successful course. Dr Prasad also extended "special thanks to Dr Kathryn Astbury (Registrar Elderly Medicine) for her vital contribution to the course."

We also thank the patients of CHFT, without whom this would have not been possible.

Candidates attending the course were from our Trust and hospitals within the region.

CHFT wishes them all the best for their upcoming PACES examination.
