CHFT has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Nursing Times Workforce Awards in the ‘Best use of Technology to improve the Working Environment’ Category for the implementation of Allocate Me App & Web.

Rose Hagreen  - pictured centre with the team - says it's a reflection of amazing response by colleagues. She says: "From the launch in early August last year we were blown away with the level of enthusiasm shown by colleagues to download the App. Based on that we decided to  submit our application to recognise how CHFT embrace the use of technology to improve working lives.

"Engagement at the launch instantly catapulted CHFT to the top of Allocate systems leader board for the number of App downloads in NHS Trusts using Allocate Software as their rostering provider.

"Allocate Me is now the Trust's go-to tool for colleagues to make shift requests and annual leave, review allocated working patterns, view and book bank shifts and review their timesheets enabling individuals to plan their valuable work/life balance at a time and place of their choosing."

Allocate ME is currently being rolled out to the Medical workforce as part of their Healthroster implementation.

Rose adds: "Current statistics show that we have in excess of 3,000 colleagues who have downloaded Allocate me with an amazing 91% of these regular accessing the system. 74% of these are accessing Allocate Me through the App which is fantastic."

The Nursing Times event organisers says ‘The judges had a tough job scoring and have commended the high-quality entries - to be shortlisted is a fantastic achievement!’

Winners will be announced at the  Awards Ceremony  on Wednesday 25th September at The Brewery, London.
