Here's our Associate Director of Organisational Development Ruth Mason at the Staff Management Partnership Forum this week.

Ruth and other members of our Workforce Department will be out-and-about spreading the word about The Cupboard, including, amongst other things, our refreshed Four Pillars, in the coming weeks.

Our new-look Four Pillars have a bit more information about what this means in terms of our behaviours, which will support us all in our work caring for our patients (see the attachment).

Ruth said "We've been running tea trolley rounds since last June asking colleagues for their thoughts about working here. A common theme was that most colleagues are familiar with our Four Pillars as values, but they also told us they sometimes struggled to understand what behaviours would help them demonstrate them.

"Our Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) steering group kindly supported the refresh of the Four Pillars. We hope colleagues will now have more of an understanding of how they can demonstrate our values through their behaviours every day."

You'll see the new Four Pillars posters going up across our Trust in the next few weeks - but in the meantime if you want to print your own, please see attached and they are also on the intranet (under Communications/CHFT posters).

You can access The Cupboard in lots of ways: Look for The Cupboard image on your desktop, see the homepage of the intranet, or the Working for Us section of our website.
