Sheridan Hodgson's cleaning trolley was pimped with fairy lights for her farewell after keeping ICU at CRH sparkling for 12 years.

Sheridan has worked for the Trust for 15 years and on ICU for 12 years! Her hard work and dedication to the ward couldn’t go un-noticed, so the ICU organised a farewell party on her last day at CRH.

Lead Senior Sister for ICU, Su Manning, said: "She has kept our unit immaculate!"

"The ward always scores highly on audits due to her professionalism and pride in our unit. Every day she speaks to the patients as she cleans around their beds, whether sedated or not!

"She was also recognised when she has won an award from the West Yorkshire Critical Care Network in the past due to her team approach and caring."

Her retirement party was held in a side room of the ICU and was filled with people from all around the hospital coming to say bye goodbye, and celebrate Sheridan's time at the Trust. Sheridan was presented with flowers and gifts from everyone. -  even her cleaning trolley was decorated with fairy lights and balloons!
