As April is the first month of the new financial year, we are highlighting the vital link between appraisals, training and receiving increments.

In order to get their increment, colleagues need to have had an appraisal or be booked in during our appraisal season (April, May and June)  and be compliant on their Essential Safety Training (EST).

This is especially important for colleagues who are eligible to receive an incremental pay point during April, May and June. Managers have been contacted by HR if they have a colleague(s) in this category to ensure an appraisal is booked in and they are compliant on EST.

Colleagues who are due an increment in July can apply for pay progression in May, as applications should be made two months before the increment is due to their manager.

See our Pay Progression pages for links to the policy and all the information you need to request your increment.
