CHFT alongside the RCN and NHSE will be co-hosting the first ever NHS LGBTQ+ learning and networking event in the North of England this summer.

The event  - on July 3 - builds on the Trust's LGBTQ forum and will be open to NHS organisations across the North.

Comedian and actor Rhona Cameron - pictured - is the guest speaker.

The event is free -  however places are limited. Bookings can be made directly through the link in the attached flyer.

The programme for the day will include talks from national speakers, a choice of workshops, Q&A session and plenty of time to network.

Event organiser, our paediatrician and asssociate medical director, Sal Uka, says: "I am really proud to be leading on this on behalf of the Trust, showing that equality and diversity is really important to us. This will be a really unique and exciting opportunity to share, learn and network with others across the North of England.

"We have attracted some really inspirational speakers from across the country including comedian Rhona Cameron. I would urge colleagues to book on soon to avoid disappointment as places are limited."
