We've said a very fond farewell and good luck to Community legend Donna Primus.

Our Clinical manager retired after working for 37 years in NHS. She trained at the Willows Calderdale 1982 and her first post was as a staff nurse on temporary contract (shortage of jobs !!)  She moved to an elderly ward 1985 .

A year later she joined theatres and in 1988 got her first Sister post. In 2007, she trained to be a District Nurse and in 2009 came to Calderdale PCT and worked at Allan House as a District nurse and then at Beechwood.

In 2010 Donna became a Clinical Manager focusing on S1. (Community's electronic patient record)

Mandy Gibbons-Phelan, said:  "S1 would not be where it is now if Donna hadn’t supported the S1 team  . A big thank you for everything she has contributed to the community Division and the NHS. We wish her a happy retirement."
