Marvellous March  is continuing across CHFT.

And this week we’re focussing on the positive outcomes for patients and staff.

Pictured are CRH Ward 5 colleagues. Therapists and nurses there have been working together to promote safe discharge.

On Ward 6 at CRH nurses are now enjoying  not filling in transfer forms so they can spend more time with their patients.

Ambulatory Care – also at CRH -  is now using Firstnet  to improve communication between them and ED which speeds up referrals and improves patient care.

Matron Acute Medicine Debbie Gibbon, said: “ It’s been a  lot of hard work involving a lot of people yet colleagues have delivered and there have been some really exciting developments for patient care.”
