If you enjoy problem-solving, work well as part of a team and like the challenge of finding new ways of working, then we have the challenge you’ve been looking for.

In 2016, Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts will introduce a new Electronic Patient Records system that will revolutionise the way in which we all work.

Both Trusts have already started preparations for the system and need team members with hands on experience of working in clinical services to help tailor the system.  You could be a nurse, health care assistant, allied health professional or other clinical technician.

The EPR Analyst & EPR Senior Analyst roles will work alongside clinical colleagues to understand how they currently deliver services now and using that knowledge, help to develop the new system so that it works well for everyone who needs to use it.  You’ll also support staff training and ensure that everyone stays up-to-date with important programme information.

These are exciting and challenging roles for anyone interested in how technology and information can improve care for patients, and those with an appetite for improving how we all deliver NHS care.   You’ll need a logical, well-organised brain and a willingness to learn.  A good understanding of how NHS services are delivered to patients is more important than IT skills.

You’ll be working across both trusts at the same time and will have the opportunity to meet new people and develop new skills for the future. For each Trust 4,000 staff will be using the system and you could be part of the team carrying this forward.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re looking for, full job descriptions can be found here.
