Our NEWS observation score tool will soon be replaced with NEWS2 in both EPR* and NerveCentre. There is an easy training course to complete if you haven’t yet done it, and you will also have to self-declare that you have done the training afterwards in ESR. Read on for key changes and how to do the training.
What are the key changes?
There will be two additional fields (parameters) to complete:
- C = new confusion
- Type 2 respiratory
