There are some significant challenges around car parking across our Trust, particularly at the Calderdale site, and we’re constantly looking at ways to improve things for colleagues and patients. The Trust Board has asked us to talk to colleagues over the coming weeks to see what we can achieve together.

In previous car parking surveys and through other routes we have asked for views and ideas from colleagues, and we’d like to explore these in more depth in some face-to-face sessions.

We are also considering whether to increase our charges slightly for staff. Before they make a decision on any increases, the Board has asked us to talk to colleagues to see if there are any other ideas for savings which would mean we would not need to increase car parking charges.

So come along and share your views on both our car parking arrangements and how we can save costs as a Trust as we look ahead to the new financial year.
