Following the successful pilot of the Inclusive Mentoring for BAME (Black, Asian or Minority Ethnicity) colleagues last year we are delighted to announce the launch of the 2019 Programme.  It has been especially adapted by colleagues at CHFT as part of the Trust’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

We are looking for both mentees and mentors:-

  • Mentees – can be any BAME colleague working in any role at any pay band within your team
  • Mentors – open to all CHFT colleagues

In brief, the programme will involve:

  • -          A full day workshop on Friday 15 March 2019 (Huddersfield Royal Infirmary)
  • -          Two further half-day supervision sessions at month 4 and 8
  • -          A commitment from mentee and mentor to meet and have their conversations over a 12 month period (frequency to be agreed).

We are encouraging managers to also talent spot for both roles. If you or colleagues would benefit from protected confidential time to talk about what’s important in a mentee/mentor relationship, please apply and also encourage your team members to do so too!

The documents attached below outline more about this opportunity.

Please return completed application forms to Samantha.lindl@cht.nhs.uk by Friday 8 February 2019.
