Baby Lottie Crompton has already been in CHFT Weekly....but last time round she was a blooming bump in her Mum's tum. See photo.

Back in December, her Mum, Laura, joined her colleagues in the Patient Pathway Coordination Team for our Advent Countdown photo and the team featured on December 5.

And just a few days later, little Lottie was born and in a lovely twist her Mum was helped by her junior school pal, and now a midwife,  Amanda Midgley.

Laura, who has been at the Trust for 10 years, said her birth pool experience at CRH, supported by Amanda and the team was "amazing".  She said: "Water seems to be a natural pain relief and I had an amazing experience."

Now on maternity leave, she told CHFT Weekly: " Lottie is fantastic. She is breast-fed and really content." She weighed in at 8lbs 8 oz.

Dad, Ian, was at the birth, said Lottie completes the family of big brother Korey, 16 and Emily-Rose who is four.  Lottie is four weeks old today and Laura has vowed no more.

Not back for a year, Laura hailed her colleagues in the Patient Pathway Team.

She said: "They are great. You have to have a good time at work. You're here more than you are at home, so  you need a good team around you and that's what we have."
