Last Sunday, they gave them their hearts.
16th Dec marked a significant day on LDRP as the team bade a happy retirement to Margaret Stephenson and also said Bon Voyage to Kirsten Colleran.
They "pounced" during Margaret Stephenson's last shift on Sunday - to give her a surprise send-off. They had organised a special tea and presented her with gifts after 43 years as a midwife.
Margaret trained in Bristol but most of her career has been in Halifax. She has two children and is a grandma too.
And... she'll be back part-time working with elective caesarian patients.
Kirsten leaves on January 2 for a new midwifery post in Guernsey.
