There's raffle prizes and then there's Ward`14's raffle prizes.

The team on there have bought some amazing gifts including Hortus gin, chocolate and beauty products to win. And all the monies raised will go to buy extras for the ward.

Last year's raffle bought a  Ninja smoothie-maker so all the patients can enjoy a healthy refreshing fruity drink in an afternoon.

Housekeeper Anne Williams and nutrition assistant Christine Slattery have been out and about selling tickets and you can buy them on the ward too.

It is drawn on December 20 so get yours bought.

A 93-year-old  lady known as "Nana Kate" has been helping Ward 17 with their Christmas fundraising effort.

She's knitted all the little Santa sacks and pops inside a choccie to hang on the tree.

HCA Vicky Bates  who has been selling them in HRI main entrance said "Nana" was a "friend of the ward"!

They sell for two for £3 and have so far helped the ward to raise more than £1,300 in an effort which also includes raffles and tombolas.

The money will go to supporting a new clinic.
