Our Consultant Paediatrician Sal Uka hosted our first Learning from Deaths summit in the summer - and he's really proud to be able to share the learning from the day in our latest themed learning newsletter (see below).

The event was a great success and attended by more than 70 CHFT colleagues. We were fortunate to have Chris Pointon, the husband of the late Kate Granger, join us. He spoke of his experiences and of the Hello, my name is… legacy.

This was followed by a series of table top discussions on mortality reviews, end of life care, specialist palliative care, death certification and family/carer involvement - which has resulted in lots of learning included in the newsletter.
