A big thanks to all nurse colleagues who made our "Sign Up Saturday" a real success.
Our latest recruitment event at HRI last month attracted a fab turnout and led us to attract 50 new colleagues to CHFT.
It wouldn't have been a success without colleagues coming in to talk about their roles in their areas of nursing.
Organiser, Amanda McGrath, said: "I can't thank everyone enough for coming in to talk to everyone. It is the very best way of recruiting and relies on everyone pulling together to create an event. There is no better way to persuade people that CHFT is a great place to work."
She added: "The passion and enthusiasm for caring shone through and made it an amazing event."
Places have been offered to:
- six qualified nurses
- 33 student nurses due to qualify Sept 2019
- four operating department practitioners
- five paediatric nurses
The next event is hoped to be staged on 6th April 2019.
