Great news as almost 47% of frontline colleagues are vaccinated against 'flu - up around 10% on this time last year after a flu-rious start to the campaign! And both MAU at HRI and the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at CRH are currently steaming ahead with 78% of colleagues vaccinated. The Medical Divsion are top of the table, with more than 50% of their colleagues protected.

And it looks like the challenge between docs and nurses is hotting up with nurses just edging ahead at 48.15% - so it's all eyes on who's going to take home the docs v nurses trophy this year. Will it be Jacke Murphy or David Birkenhead?

Lead physio at HRI, Helen Ockwell, is this week's winner of the extra days annual leave. When asked why she had her vaccination she said: "I feel I need to lead by example to my team. As well as protecting us all, it means there is less chance of staff taking sick leave, which puts their other colleagues under pressure".

The second prize winner of the £25 high street voucher is Joseph Anathhanam – Consultant Anaesthetist.

It's not just frontline colleagues backing our campaign. Around 15 colleagues at THIS in Brighouse had their jabs today (see below). Fab stuff!
