Here's where it gets serious folks - our first 'flu reports are out. It's going great with more than 36% of frontline colleagues vaccinated in the first weeks - 12% higher than this time last year. Also a shout out as wards 7b and the coronary care unit at CRH are both at 70% immunised, and to F&SS who are currently the top operational division.
It looks like we have a competition out there between our medical director David Birkenhead and Chief Operating Officer Jackie Murphy as our nurses edge ahead with 37.86% against the docs at 33.57%.

HCA, Carole Manogue, pictured below, from ward 7b at CRH is the latest prize draw winner - scooping an extra day's leave for getting her vaccination. When told she'd won it her reaction was "Ooh, wow that's marvellous. I love my holidays so it will really come in useful".
Dr Sara Altaf, Trust Doctor, MAU, HRI has won the second prize of £25 in gift vouchers.
