Tell us your NHS background?

I have worked for the NHS for over 12 years but mostly spent in primary care working for a GP surgery.  I've always had a passion to work in a hospital environment and a job in the pre-operative assessment unit which I started in 2017 gave me the opportunity to continue the care and compassion that I love and enjoy giving to patients who I come into contact with.

A present for the NHS?

My present for the NHS platinum birthday would be a never-ending pot of funding so that all the fantastic services our organisation provides would no longer be overstretched so we can continue giving patients the best care that they deserve.

What makes it special to you?

I thoroughly enjoy working for the NHS and the opportunities it provides and I am proud to be an ambassador of such a great institution.
