Colleagues are invited to a rousing concert in the chapel at CRH on Thursday October 18th (7.30 pm)

There are 30 tickets to hear The Landlubbers at a live broadcast which will also raise funds for hospital radio and be broadcast live to our patients.

The Landlubbers are an 11-strong a capella vocal ensemble - see photo -  who describe themselves as  ‘a Hearty Industrial Sea Shanty group from The Mills of Halifax Bay’.

They sing traditional sea shanties, songs about the Calderdale area and their record release of ‘When Glory Shone Around Upon FC Halifax Town’.

There are 30 free tickets available for patients, colleagues and hospital volunteers with refreshments at the interval.

The Landlubbers are giving their services free for this charitable event and Hospital Radio Calderdale are hoping to raise much needed funds on the night by contributions in a donation box and the proceeds of an ongoing raffle.

It will make quite a change from the usual Sunday Morning Service broadcast!
