One of our manikins can't lie down right now - and that means CHFT colleagues can't be trained safely.

That's because an examination couch - used during  resuscitation courses -  in order to demonstrate effective chest compressions safely - is unable to be traced. Sue Shaw our lead resuscitation officer is desperate to track it down.

The grey, variable height couch allows us to adjust the height of the couch to suit each  individual attending training  They also allow us to re-position the patient (manikin) and to either sit patients up or lay them flat.

The examination couch was last seen in the Large Training Room, in the Learning Centre, CRH.  We would be most pleased if anyone knows the whereabouts of this couch if they could ring either of the numbers below
