Our Trust is implementing a new way of delivering our corporate induction.

Induction is recognised as essential to employment best practices and helps to embed new employees into the ethos of the Trust and makes sure that we are compliant with regulatory bodies.The aim of induction programmes is to enable employees to adjust to their new role within the Trust and achieve safety and efficiency in a timely manner.

From July, all employees, including all grades of medical staff, permanent and temporary colleagues over three months will undertake an e-induction programme which will be supported by a local induction plan developed by the line manager. In addition, all new starters will need to complete the mandatory and essential skills training.
