If you use taxis to support patient care, please familiarise yourself with our new policy. We're aiming to minimise unnecessary spend on taxis, and the policy includes alternative, more cost effective transport options provided by CHFT. It also outlines the new booking process.

Key points:

• PTS are our preferred provider for patient transfers
• If your patient needs a taxi it must be booked through the transport office (between 8am and 4pm) or the switchboard (between 4pm and 8am)
