Thanks to all our bakers whose homemade goodies were the star attractions in our two hospital entrances - just eight hours ahead of the return of Bake Off on telly.
CHFT staged its own competition to celebrate the return of the cult show with certificates for the winners.
There were cakes of all flavours including courgette, gin and tonic, Smarties and limoncello.
For sheer creativity, the cake shaped like Four Pillars with each pillar a different flavoured sponge and colour, was awesome.
Our winners on the day were: Sam Lindl from WOD at HRI and playnurse Stephanie Sayles at CRH who scooped Star Baker certificates.

HRI Security Guard Kevin Holroyd was drafted in when the Bake Off went to a final decider and declared of the winner: "I never eat cake - but I'd eat all that!"
The judges, directors Lesley Hill and Gary Boothby had two bakers in a dead heat based on three categories of appearance, taste and texture.
Sam Lindl's Seasonal Berry amd Lemon Curd cake just topped the Smartie-topped cake from HCA Emily Russ from MaxFacs.
Sam's recipe, it turned out, was from the legendary Betty's and a last-minute dash for the icing sugar to dust the top obviously paid off. Ward 21's Jayne Nogy ( Chocolate cake tasting like a Terrys Chocolate Orange) HIV Pharmacist Louise Ryan's stunning Four Pillars and Vicky Pickles' Brownies and G&T loaf cake made it a quality final.

At CRH Executive Director of Workforce Suzanne Dunkley was joined by patient Dean Pye in judging.
Dean, said: "I've just been discharged and was craving a Krispy Kreme, but this is even better!"
Orthoptist Laura Charlesworth amazed all the chocolate lovers with her Malteser Cake! We asked Laura what the secret was to the perfect bake?: "Just follow the recipe really carefully! And get lots of practice"
Physiotherapist Sophie Box produced her signiture Rolo cake, which was the tallest cake on the stand, with many layers of chocolate and Buttercream!
But it was Star Baker Stephanie Sayles who won the judges over with her Courgette and Lime cake, topped with icing and nuts. Stephanie was keen to get her cake back to ward 3 at CRI to share with her colleagues and celebrate the baking victory.
