Last week Patient Pathway's Gillian Gabanski asked for help to track down an ED doctor who tended to her cousin after he had a heart attack while out cycling in Saddleworth.
The mystery doc had blonde hair and drove a white BMW and stopped her car to block the road and tend to the man.
He has since undergone treatment at Wythenshawe Hospital and is now home recovering - but there's been no trace of the doctor despite widespread publicity.
Gillian, said: "My cousin has made an amazing recovery to be out of hospital so quickly. I know he would still like to be reunited with the woman and we are hoping she will be traced so he can thank her."
She predicts her cousin, called Gordon Brown, will be back on his cycle as soon as he can and plans fundraising to buy defibrillators.
Two doctors were at the scene outside the Juntion Inn - in an amazing and lucky experience - when he fell ill and a defibrillator was used in the emergency. That is how the family knew the other was a doctor.
