Our Hudderfield Appointment centre had a visit from a furry guest to say thank you for their donation to Guide Dogs for the Blind last month.

The Appointment centre organised a £1 dress down day on the last Friday of every month, rasing £200.73 for a charity of their choice. Everyone was asked if they feel strongly about any charity to add it to the hat, and Guide Dogs For the Blind was the first charity that was randomly chosen.

To say thank you for the donation two members of the Guide Dogs for the Blind came in and gave a talk on how the donation will be spent, and the postive changes it will make to people's lives. The labrador puppy was very excited to be there, and recieved lots of cuddles from everyone in the office.

The next charity they have chosen is MIND – in about 6 months’ time they hope to give a similar amount to the Mental Health Charity. They will also be taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Anyone you want to say a big thanks to?
"Big thank you to Katharine Fletcher for contacting the charity and arranging the visit. Also a massive thanks to Hannah Bright for reminding everyone to bring their pennies in and collecting the money!" - Emily Dewey, Appointment Services Manager.
