Town legend Andy Booth came in to blow the very final whistle on our World Cup summer celebrations today.

He presented a signed ball to our Pathology/Phlebotomy team who had France in the works sweep - and revealed his thoughts about Premier League Season 2 for the Terriers.

He said: ‘I’m looking forward to the season getting under way especially after what has been a great summer of football with regards the World Cup. It will be a difficult season because I feel the expectation from our supporters has risen and we are all getting to like being in the Premier League and want to stay in it for as long as we can so there is more pressure on David and the players than last season.

"We’ve made some good summer signings but the most important signing was David Wagner signing an extension to his contract and it just shows the clubs ambition going forward".
