We've had a blast over the past few weeks with our World Cup competitions - even when we've occasionally mislaid the football table! Here's your round-up of our fab winners at CHFT, including our keepy up champ and the best dressed wards. Plus a brief preview of what's to come later this summer.
Keep uppy champ:
Procurement business process lead, Thomas Wareham. With 111 keepy uppies Thomas must have worked up a right thirst for his prize of champers - see his video here
Best dressed area CRH:
Ward 5, who drew Denmark in our sweep, were delivered strawberries and cream to celebrate.
Best dressed area: HRI:
Ward 17 also got some very British strawbs and cream - their team was England, so very apt!
Guess the number of footballs in the jar:
Our assistant director of human resources Azizen Khan won a footie mug for her spot-on guess of 81 balls. Back of the net Azizen!
....and finally.....
World Cup overall champions:
Pathology drew France, the new World Cup champs, in the sweep. Huddersfield Town FC have a signed football and they've asked to come in and present it soon - pics will follow!
So what's coming up next at CHFT to get involved in?
In a few weeks, Prue, Paul, Sandi and Noel will be dusting off their aprons and sharpening their wit as the Great British Bake Off returns to our TV screens. We know how much of a favourite the programme is with colleagues, so we'll be running our very own competition - details to follow soon.
